Overview

The person renting (customer) has an agreement with Hikomoto Limited.

The customer is responsible for all equipment for the entire rental period.

The rental period is from the time the customer selected on the website until the time the equipment is returned and secured correctly.

The customer agrees to return the equipment within the agreed time frame.

The customer agrees to return the equipment clean and undamaged.

The customer agrees to secure the equipment correctly throughout the entire rental period if left unattended.

The customer agrees to report any problems with the lock immediately.

If due to theft or accident the equipment is stolen or damaged (other than reasonable wear and tear) the customer agrees to pay replacement or repair costs.

The customer agrees to check the equipment before use for damage / wear and report any problems immediately.

If the customer fails to secure the equipment correctly and the equipment is subsequently stolen the customer will be liable for replacement costs.

Safety

The customer is responsible for their own safety whilst using the equipment.

The customer agrees that cycling contains an element of risk. The customer accepts that in the event of injury or death Hiko will not be held liable.

Hiko accepts no responsibility for theft or damage to property belonging to the customer.

The customer agrees to educate themselves about the road rules and hazards.

The customer agrees to use the equipment in a responsible manner.

The customer agrees to check the weather forecast before using the equipment and to monitor the weather conditions throughout the rental period. The

customer agrees to return the bike(s) if conditions are unsafe or beyond their skill level.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel an order with more than 24 hours notice before your order time to receive a full refund. Please cancel your booking at the bottom of your confirmation email.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your order time will be charged in full.

Please monitor the weather the day before your booking. If there is inclement weather and we are notified before pick-up time, you will receive a full refund. Please email us or send a What’s App message on +642904309807 to make an inclement weather booking cancellation.

  • Late return - $45/hr

    Non return / stolen bike - $2000

    Broken pedal(s) - $50 ea.

    Dinged frame - $80

    Punctured tyre(s) - $80 ea.

    Damaged handlebars - $200

    Ripped seat - $200

    Broken mudguard - $50 ea.

    Broken luggage carrier - $100 ea.

    Damage to front or rear lights - $150 ea.
